Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Vidyarthi Lalkitab Android app ("we", "the app") handles information. The app provides Lal Kitab kundli, panchang, and related astrology calculations.

1. Information you enter

You may enter name, birth date, birth time, birth place (city), and gender to create and save kundli records. This data is stored only on your device in a local database. We do not operate a server that receives your birth details.

You may optionally create an account with email and password to save more kundli records. Your login is also stored only on your device (hashed password). We do not send your email or password to our servers.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob on input and saved-list screens only (not on kundli chart screens). AdMob may collect and use data such as:

Advertising ID
Device type, OS version, language
IP address (approximate location)
Ad interaction data

This is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses data in advertising. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings.

3. Internet

Internet is used to load advertisements. Core kundli and panchang calculations work offline after the app is installed.

4. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Data retention and deletion

Saved kundli data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes local app data.

6. Account and data deletion (Vidyarthi Lalkitab)

If you create an email login, your account exists only on your phone. We do not keep a copy on our servers. You can delete your data as follows.

Delete your account and all app data

Uninstall Vidyarthi Lalkitab from your phone, or
Open Android Settings → Apps → Vidyarthi Lalkitab → Storage → Clear data (or Clear storage).

This removes your email account, saved kundlis, and all other app data on that device. We cannot delete it remotely because we do not store it on our servers.

Delete only some data (keep your account)

Open the app → saved kundli list → delete the records you no longer want.
Use Log out in the app to sign out without removing saved kundlis.

7. Security

We do not transmit your saved kundli records to our servers. Use a secure device lock to protect data on your phone.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
